One child evaluated after projectile shatters school bus window in Worcester

WORCESTER, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) -- Worcester police say a projectile shot from a BB gun shattered a school bus window on Friday afternoon.

The incident happened on Harding Street just before 3 p.m.

The superintendent tells FOX 25 the bus was carrying 20 children from the Quinsigamond Elementary School at the time of the incident.

One child was evaluated at the scene by Worcester EMS after complaining of injuries. They were later released to their parents. No other injuries were reported.

Worcester police are investigating.
