BOSTON (MyFoxBoston.com) – A second grader is accused of bringing a BB gun to an East Boston school this week.
Officials at Mario Umana Academy said students reported seeing another child with a gun Wednesday.
School officials said they took immediate action and found the child, who was not identified to Fox 25.
Officials said the gun was not operable and no students were in danger at any time.
A letter was sent home to parents.
There was no word on punishment for the child.
