Officials: Fire tears through multi-family homes in Pawtucket

PAWTUCKET, R.I. (MyFoxBoston.com) – Firefighters responded to Harrison Street and Slater Street in Pawtucket, R.I. Sunday afternoon for a fire that tore through several homes.

According to the Providence Journal, a multi-alarm fire damaged two multi-family buildings and spread to nearby yards and sheds.

The fire occurred at about 1:30 p.m., officials told the newspaper.
