BOSTON — One of the officers shot in East Boston last week has been released from the hospital, the Boston Police Department announced on Twitter.
Richard Cintolo was one of two officers shot last Wednesday night while responding to a reported domestic disturbance in East Boston. He and Officer Matt Morris were taken to Mass General Hospital where they underwent several surgeries and spent several days listed in critical condition.
