Updated:VINELAND, NJ (MyFoxBoston.com) -- A New Jersey couple celebrated their diamond anniversary by renewing their vows this week.
Julio and Clara Sbrana tied the knot in 1939. The 99-year-olds began dating in 1933.
"I think it was about six years before we got hooked," said Clara, who added that they never let go.
The couple renewed their vows at the Baker Place assisted living facility.
"They are a great couple and they crack us up every day," said Jennifer Zerra of Baker Place. "We're really excited to celebrate this milestone with them."
"I don't think two individuals ever shared as much in life as we did," said Julio.
The couple says the secret to a long-lasting relationship is to always forgive and never go to bed angry.
