NH woman charged for throwing large knife at man

NASHUA, N.H. (MyFoxBoston.com) – A 56-year-old New Hampshire woman is facing multiple charges after she allegedly threw a large knife at a man, striking him in the back of the leg.

Elisa Menegoni, of Nashua, N.H. is charged with domestic violence first-degree assault, falsifying physical evidence, and domestic violence simple assault for the incident which occurred at about 10:40 p.m. Monday.

Officers responded to the domestic complaint after receiving a report an adult male had been stabbed.

Following an investigation, detectives learned Menegoni had thrown the knife at the victim and then hid the knife when she learned police were investigating the incident.

The victim was treated at a local hospital and later released.

Menegoni was being held on $10,000 cash bail pending her arraignment Tuesday.
