NH teen dies after being hit by two cars

DERRY, N.H. (MyFoxBoston.com) -- A New Hampshire teen has died after being hit by two cars Friday night.

Sophia Christen, 15, of Manchester, was crossing Route 28 in Derry with 13-year-old Lauren Gendreau, of Derry, when both teens were hit. Investigators say they were hit on the northbound side of the road at about 9 p.m.

The teens were transported to Parkland Medical Center with serious injuries. Christen died as a result of her injuries.

The two drivers involved in the incident are a 63-year-old Bow man and a 58-year-old Manchester woman. There is no word on whether or not either driver could face any charges.

Route 28 remained closed for about five hours after the collision. Derry police are still investigating.
