NH teen accused of cutting another teen during Thursday morning fight

NASHUA, NH (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) A New Hampshire teen is facing assault charges amid allegations that he cut another teen with a knife during a fight.

Alex Ashwell, 17, of Nashua, is facing felony second degree assault charges after a fight that reportedly occurred on Thursday morning.

Police say Ashwell got into a fight at about 11:30 a.m. with a 14-year-old boy. During the fight, the 14-year-old sustained a laceration to his hand that required several stitches. Police accuse Ashwell of slicing the teen's hand with a knife.

Ashwell was expected to be arraigned on Friday.
