NH reps ban the carrying of guns in parts of State House

CONCORD, NH (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) The New Hampshire House of Representatives has voted in favor of banning guns from key rooms in the State House.

The New Hampshire Union Leader reports that the House voted in favor of banning guns from Representatives Hall, the ante room, and the House Gallery. This decision reverses a ruling from two years ago that lifted a 40-year ban on carrying concealed firearms.

Some state representatives have reportedly voiced plans to continue to carry their concealed weapons inside Representatives Hall.
