NH police respond to two separate break-ins in Salem

SALEM, N.H. (MyFoxBoston.com) – Police in Salem responded to two more daytime burglaries Wednesday.

According to police, detectives responded to a Howard Street residence that had been ransacked at about 1 p.m. Police estimated that approximately $2,000 worth of goods were stolen from the home, including a computer, a jewelry box, jewelry and several credit cards.

Police responded to another burglary at a Pleasant Street home the occurred at about 4 p.m. Authorities said it appears the suspects forced their way into the home through a window off a porch. Police said it appears only a checkbook was stolen.

Authorities said there are no witnesses or suspects for either of the crimes.

Police are asking residents to be vigilant and report any suspicious activity, vehicles, or people immediately.
