NH police investigate reported shooting, robbery at Manchester apartment

MANCHESTER, NH (MyFoxBoston.com) -- Police are investigating a reported armed robbery in Manchester, N.H. that resulted in a victim being shot.

Manchester police responded to Pearl Street just before 9:30 p.m. Friday on reports of shots fired. Once on the scene, witnesses reported seeing two suspicious men flee 377 Pearl Street after hearing the gunshot.

When officers approached the apartment, they found a 33-year-old man with a gunshot wound to his right thigh. The man told police he was shot and robbed while in his apartment.

The victim, whose injuries were non-life threatening, described the man who shot him as being a dark skinned, heavy set Hispanic man dressed in all black clothing. He was reportedly accompanied by a black man who was about 6 feet tall, weighed 260 pounds, and was also dressed in all black clothing.
