NH police investigate possible human teeth found on Pierce Island

PORTSMOUTH, N.H. (MyFoxBoston.com) – Police in Portsmouth, N.H. were investigating four teeth found by someone walking their dog on Pierce Island Saturday.

Seacoastonline.com reported that the person who found the teeth said they "appear to be human" but investigators told FOX 25 that they were working to determine where the teeth may have come from.

Portsmouth Police were following up with Somersworth Police to see if the teeth may be related to the disappearance of 19-year-old Lizzi Marriott.

Investigators said Seth Mazzaglia, the man charged in Marriott's disappearance, claimed he had dumped her body near Pierce Island. Her body has not been found.

Investigators said Mazzaglia strangled or suffocated Marriott inside his apartment and disposed of her body in October 2012.
