• NH police investigate Manchester jewelry store robbery


    MANCHESTER, N.H. (MyFoxBoston.com) – Police in New Hampshire are reaching out to the public in hopes of learning more about a jewelry store robbery that occurred in Manchester early Monday morning.

    Officers with the Manchester Police Dept. responded to Pearson's Jewelers located at 926 Elm Street at about 2:38 a.m.

    Upon arrival, police found the glass door and two display cases inside the store shattered.

    The owner arrived at the jewelry store after receiving the alarm call on his phone. He told police one case had contained yellow gold jewelry consisting of rings, chains and bracelets, and the other case had displayed assorted watches.

    The missing items are estimated to be worth about $20,000 to $50,000.

    The incident was not captured on surveillance video.
