NEW LONDON, NH (MyFoxBoston.com) -- A New Hampshire police chief resigned Thursday amid allegations that he asked to take nude photos of a female suspect.
New London Police Chief David Seastrand also permanently relinquished his police officer certification after a complaint was received by Attorney General Michael Delaney's office March 6.
A woman, who was arrested a few days prior to lodging the complaint, told investigators Seastrand claimed charges against her would be dropped if she allowed him to take nude photos of her.
The attorney general said the state's investigation into the incident is closed and criminal charges will not be pursued against Seastrand since he resigned.
