• N.H. piano teacher facing sexual assault charges


    ATKINSON, N.H. (MyFoxBoston.com) -- A piano teacher from New Hampshire is accused of sexually assaulting a boy over a period of three years.

    John Goodwin, 74, of Atkinson, New Hampshire was arrested Friday morning on aggravated felonious sexual assault charges.

    Police tell FOX 25 Goodwin became unresponsive during his arrest and was transported to Exeter Hospital.

    Goodwin's arrest is the result of the three month investigation into allegations that he sexually assaulted a male between May 2002 and October 2005. Investigators say the alleged abuse happened at Goodwin's business, Goodwin Music Academy.

    The 74-year-old was released on $50,000 personal recognizance bail. His next court appearance is scheduled for March 17.
