NH nurse's license suspended following brother-in-law's death

DERRY, NH (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) A New Hampshire nurse had her license suspended on Tuesday after she admitted to killing a relative with insulin that she took from her workplace.

Attorney General Michael Delaney announced the New Hampshire Board of Nursing's decision to suspend Catherine George of Derry.

George's brother-in-law, Randall Percival, died on Oct. 9. According to the Beverly Patch, Percival formerly lived in Beverly and was living in Raymond, NH at the time of his death.

Five days after Percival's death, George went to the Derry Police Department and reportedly admitted to killing him. She said she gave Percival 300 units of insulin that she claimed to have taken from her job.

The Board of Nursing will meet on Nov. 2 to decide whether George's license should be suspended for the entirety of the organization's investigation.

Both New Hampshire State Police and police in Raymond are conducting a criminal investigation into Percival's death.
