NH mother accused of strangling 12-year-old daughter

A New Hampshire mother is facing numerous charges after police said she strangled her 12-year-old daughter, according to police.

Nashua police received a report Monday that a 12-year-old was physically assaulted by her mother several days prior. The report was forwarded to the Special Investigations Division and the incident was further investigated.

The investigation determined the girl was strangled by her mother, Aimee Busby, 40.

The victim did not sustain serious injuries during the assault.

Busby was arrested and charged with second degree assault and domestic violence.

She was released on $1,500 bail and is expected to be arraigned in court on Friday.
