NH men arrested in Nashua hit and run

NASHUA, N.H. (AP) - Police say they have arrested two men in connection with a hit-and-run crash in the New Hampshire city of Nashua that seriously injured a motorcycle driver in August.

Authorities say a black sports utility vehicle hit the motorcycle on a turnpike exit ramp on Aug. 22.

The motorcyclist - 79-year-old Theodore Takacs of Nashua - was thrown from the bike and suffered serious injuries.

Police said Saturday that they have arrested 23-year-old Benjamin Tucker and 47-year-old Michael Fawcett, both of Nashua. Tucker is facing charges of felony reckless conduct and conduct after a crash and operating without a valid license. Fawcett is charged with falsifying physical evidence and allowing an improper person to drive.

It was not immediately known if the two men are being represented by lawyers.
