NH man fatally hit by car on 495 in Haverhill

HAVERHILL, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) -- A 24-year-old New Hampshire man died Friday after he was hit by a car on Route 495 north.

Mass. State Police say Nicholas Nadeau, of Kingston, N.H., was hit by a car just before 1:30 a.m. near exit 51 in Haverhill. He was declared deceased at the scene.

The highway was closed in the area of exit 51 for a period of time for investigation and clean up. Details of the incident were not released.
