NH man faces murder charges in wife's stabbing death

MANCHESTER, N.H. (MyFoxBoston.com) -- A New Hampshire man is accused of fatally stabbing his wife inside a Manchester home.

John Hogarty, 53, is charged with one count of first-degree murder in the death of 46-year-old Michelle Hogarty.

Manchester police responded to a 911 call at 316 Mammoth Road, Unit 1, just before 5 a.m. Wednesday. When they arrived to the scene, police found Michelle Hogarty's body.

Investigators allege John Hogarty killed his wife by stabbing her. He is scheduled for arraignment at 11 a.m. Thursday in Manchester District Court.

The medical examiner's office will conduct an autopsy on Michelle's body Thursday.
