NH man charged in Hollis party stabbing

HOLLIS, N.H. (MyFoxBoston.com) -- A 21-year-old New Hampshire man was held on $25,000 cash bail on Wednesday for his alleged connection to a stabbing at a party in Hollis.

Brandon Hanks of Nashua was arrested just before 11 p.m. Tuesday on an arrest warrant stemming from an altercation that occurred on Jan. 19.

Investigators allege that an 18-year-old victim was at a party on Farley Road in Hollis when he got into a fight. During the fight, the teen sustained a shallow stab wound to his stomach. He was treated overnight at a hospital in Nashua for the non-life threatening injury.

Hanks faces charges that include one count each of second degree assault and reckless conduct. He will return to court on Jan. 21 for a probable cause hearing.

Another man, 26-year-old Darren Erikson of Hollis, was issued a summons to appear in court for his alleged connection to the underage party. He faces one count of facilitating a drug or underage alcohol party.
