MANCHESTER, NH (MyFoxBoston.com) -- A Manchester police detective accused of injuring two teens in a hit-and-run accident turned himself in on Tuesday morning.

Investigators tell FOX 25 Stephen Coco is charged with two felony counts of conduct after an accident.

Coco was terminated by the Manchester Police Department after an investigation reportedly revealed the detective violated several other departmental procedures.

Two teenagers were injured in a hit-and-run while walking on Harrod Lane Friday night. One of the teens was transported to a local hospital with serious head injuries. The other teen suffered minor injuries. Both have been released from the hospital.

An investigation revealed the car assigned to Coco was involved in the accident. Police believe Coco was behind the wheel.
