HAMPTON, N.H. (MyFoxBoston.com) – Parents and students were on edge in North Hampton, N.H. after an 11-year-old allegedly threatened to shoot and kill another child with a shotgun.
Police stepped up patrols at the North Hampton School after a parent sent out a letter over the weekend describing last week's threat.
According to The Portsmouth Herald, the 11-year-old admitted to his actions, but was allowed to go back into the classroom.
North Hampton police are conducting interviews with witnesses to determine if the department should move forward with legal action.
An investigation is ongoing.
