NH burglary suspect smashes car through front of jewelry store

LEBANON, N.H. (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) – Police in Lebanon are asking for the public's help identifying a man who reportedly used his car to smash through the front door of a jewelry store and steal several items.

The male suspect reportedly stole rings and several other pieces of jewelry from Pearce Jewelers early Monday morning.

Store owners say it is going to cost more to replace the door than the missing jewelry.

Police told FOX 25 that this method of entry is identical to another break-in that occurred at Bear Hollow Guitars, but they have not said if there is a connection.

The suspect is possibly driving a silver or gray Volkswagen Jetta with no front plate. The vehicle may have sustained damages or scratches to the front.

Anyone with information regarding the suspect or the vehicle is asked to contact the Lebanon Police Department at 603-448-1212.
