RYE, N.H. (MyFoxBoston.com) -- Wallis Sands State Beach in Rye, N.H. was evacuated Tuesday after a reported shark sighting.
Swimmers were asked to get out of the water as a precaution. They were allowed to go back in by 3:30 p.m.
The Coast Guard assisted local crews in searching the waters off Rye after the report. They did not find any sharks during the search.
