• New website tracks stops by Boston school buses

BOSTON (MyFoxBoston.com) – The families of Boston public school students will now be able to track where their school bus is in real time.
The Boston Globe reports that the new bus-tracking program is available on the BPS website and an Android app.
Parents can call up the website, enter their child's last name, date of birth and student ID number. A Google map will then show where their bus is. It does not give estimates on arrival times at bus stops. It is set to go live in time for the start of the Boston Public school year.
Classes for most Boston public school students begins on Wednesday.
