New insight into possible motive behind Newtown massacre

(MyFoxBoston.com) – There is some new insight into a possible motive behind the Newtown massacre.
    
Marvin LaFontaine told the New York Daily News that 20-year-old gunman Adam Lanza harbored resentment towards the school because he'd been bullied when he was a student there.
    
LaFontaine is a friend of Lanza's mother , Nancy, and was his Cub Scout troop leader.
    
LaFontaine said Nancy Lanza was so angry with the lack of protection offered by the school she would sometimes stay in class with Adam to make sure no one bothered him. He told the paper Adam wanted to be a Marine, but had no shot because of his mental health issues.
    
Adam Lanza shot and killed his mother before murdering 26 young students and faculty members on Dec. 14, 2012.
