New Bedford resident dies in overnight crash

SWANSEA, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) -- A 23-year-old New Bedford resident died after a single-car crash in Swansea overnight.

State Police responded to the scene on Route 195 east near exit 3 at about 1 a.m. Wednesday. The victim, identified as Enrique Arias, was pronounced dead at the scene.

There is currently no word on what caused Arias's car to leave the roadway and crash.

The crash remains under investigation.
