NRA Spokeswoman: 'Many in legacy media love mass shootings'

The spokeswoman for the National Rifle Association on Thursday said, "many in legacy media love mass shootings."

Dana Loesch made the comments during a speech at the Conservative Political Action Conference, criticizing the media coverage following a deadly school shooting in Parkland, Florida.

"I'm not saying that you love the tragedy," she said."But I am saying you love the ratings. Crying white mothers are ratings gold."

The comments come one week after 17 people were killed at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School.
