(MyFoxBoston.com) – A babysitter and her boyfriend charged with reckless child endangerment are due in court Monday.
On Friday, police were called to a Cohasset parking lot on King Street. A concerned citizen said a man was drunk and was letting a toddler run in traffic. When the woman asked him about the child, he allegedly told her he didn't know the little boy and asked her if she wanted him.
She called police and 33-year-old Rohn Hess was arrested. A half hour later, his girlfriend, Jennifer Fiori, showed up and told police she was hired by a Dorchester family to watch the toddler.
Authorities said Hess and Fiori appeared to be under the influence of drugs. When they searched the babysitter's car, police said they found hypodermic needles, other drugs, and high capacity magazines.
The child was not hurt and was returned to his father.
