Museum of Fine Arts to collect donations for the One Fund

BOSTON (MyFoxBoston.com) -- The Museum of Fine Arts in Boston is showing their support for the victims of the marathon bombings by offering free admission on Memorial Day weekend.

Instead of charging admission during the holiday weekend, the museum will be accepting donations for the One Fund.

The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York is lending three paintings to the Huntington Avenue museum for Memorial Day weekend. The museum will also unveil a piece called "To Boston, With Love," which features hand-sewn quilt squares made by people all over the world.

The Museum of Fine Arts planned to hoist "Boston Strong" banners at their Huntington Avenue entrance Tuesday in honor of the victims.
