QUINCY, Mass. — Quincy Police arrested two people wanted in connection to the robbery of a 92-year-old woman on Saturday night in Quincy.
Trooper Joseph Gray of the Massachusetts State Police located Kayla Noel-Brown and Markell Cruz in Boston and then contacted Quincy Police Detective Carthas, who was aware that Noel-Brown was a person of interest in this case.
Both parties were arrested and transported to the Quincy Police Station.

Noel-Brown, 26, of Quincy and Cruz, 27, of Somerville, were both charged with unarmed robbery of an elderly person, assault and battery on an elderly person and conspiracy.

Both are scheduled to be arraigned at the Quincy District Court on Monday, Nov 27 and are currently being held on bail.
Noel-Brown and Cruz robbed Doris Prendiville, 92, of Quincy, on Nov 19 when she was walking home.

Security footage obtained by police shows Cruz pushed Prendiville over and ran off with her purse. Noel-Brown then helped her up, but was in cahoots with Cruz.
Prendiville suffered a broken sternum and several other injuries, but is expected to be okay.
