Much drier air has moved into southern New England behind yesterday's robust cold front.
Temperatures will steadily rise into the low and mid 80s today from the Cape to Boston and the suburbs. It will be a comfortable Tuesday and Wednesday with dew point temperatures in the 50s, meaning it will NOT be muggy.
Mostly sunny skies will mix with some scattered clouds this afternoon. The sunshine will stay the dominant feature in today's forecast. West winds will range from 5-15 mph.
The Red Sox play the Mariners tonight at 7:10. Fenway will be beautiful with partly to mostly sunny skies and temps in the 70 throughout the game. With only high pressure in place it will be dry and comfortable.
Overnight will stay quiet with a few clouds passing through. Low will bottom out in the 50s and 60s around sunrise Wednesday.
Tomorrow will be another nice one with a few more afternoon clouds. It will be dry and cozy with this in the mid 80s.
Clouds increase as does the threat of rain as Thursday progresses. It will turn stick again as dew points rise into the mid 60s. The potential for rain and t-storms is greatest from Thursday night to midday Friday.
