Mostly cloudy and cold Wednesday

From Fox 25 Meteorologist Shiri Spear:

Clouds have started to break apart across western Mass. late morning.  Partial clearing will push from west to east today and reach at least central parts of the state.  The clouds will be stubborn to leave along the coast, Cape and Islands.

Conditions will range from partly sunny west to mostly cloudy with a few sprinkles far east.  Cooler than average highs will persist as thermometers top out around 40 degrees.

Clearing conditions will overspread the region tonight as low pressure is pushed out to sea by high pressure into the east coast.  Temperatures will likely land in the 20s by early Thursday morning.   Highs will be in the lower 40s tomorrow but just the mid-upper 30s Friday afternoon (that's our normal LOW temp, not high!). Partial sun is expected.
