Monday forecast: cool before the thaw

From FOX 25 Meteorologist Shiri Spear:

Cool northerly winds will hold temperatures in the 30s for most of the day Monday. Those same winds will pull moist air over the Cape today. The result will be stubborn clouds and a few showers. Elsewhere, brightening conditions will develop this afternoon.

Although it will feel a little chillier than the weekend, today's highs in the mid 30s are completely normal in early January!

What's not normal? Highs in the mid to upper 40s for the rest of the week!

Winds will shift to the southwest by Tuesday and carry milder air into place. Skies will be mostly sunny with a high around 45 tomorrow.

Sunday's Pat's game is on everyone's mind, I know! It looks very warm for January standards.  Currently the forecast calls for a high of 52 with rain showers forming in the afternoon and evening.
