Mohawked NASA dude becomes Internet sensation

By now you've probably seen the video from the NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory landing the Curiosity rover on Mars.

If you look at the video closely you'll notice one of the scientists stands out a little bit…ok, a lot a bit as he's the only NASA engineer we've ever seen with a Mohawk and stars shaved into the side of his head.

His name, as it turns out, is Bobak Ferdowsi, and he's the biggest thing on the Internet today. Meme's have popped up celebrating his unique hairstyle and, dare we say, his devilishly good looks.

Ferdowsi tells Whatstrending.com's Shira Lazar that he has worked for the JPL for 9 years and has been involved with the Curiosity rover ever since.
