Missing teen's body recovered from Milford quarry

MILFORD, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) -- The body of a missing 18-year-old was recovered from the Fletcher Quarry in Milford Monday morning.

The man has been identified as Nentor Dahn. His body was found with sonar equipment just before 10:15 a.m. The body was about 10 feet from the cliff and about 70 feet down.

The teen was part of a group of five teenagers from Rhode Island who were jumping from the rocks above into the water Sunday afternoon. Dahn dove from what officials believe to be about a 40-foot high ledge.

Friends said Dahn hit the water the wrong way and never came back up.

Family and friends gathered at Dahn's home Tuesday to help console his parents.Dahn graduated from a Providence high school in June and was expecting to study business at the University of Rhode Island in the fall.
