Millbury woman dies in single-vehicle crash

MILLBURY, Mass. (AP) — Police say a 41-year-old Millbury woman has been killed in a single-vehicle crash in town.

Jennifer Landry was pronounced dead at the scene after police found her outside her 1996 Ford Explorer, which had crashed into the woods, at about 1:30 a.m. Sunday.

Police tell The Telegram & Gazette (http://bit.ly/15ZKLXb) that Ford was headed east when the accident occurred and she would have made a left at the intersection if she had been heading home.

Police and firefighters combed the wooded area where the SUV came to rest, concerned that Landry may not have been alone in the vehicle.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
