Both men are being summoned to court after police said they seized several handguns, a rifle, multiple large-capacity magazines and a collapsible baton from the father's home and the son's car.
At 7:49 p.m. Tuesday night, police received a call from a woman screaming that a man in the Green Street house had a gun. The call was then disconnected. When police arrived at the scene, they found a woman outside the home, screaming "get in there, he's got a gun."
When police went upstairs, they found Charles Nadeau. Police searched the home and found a 9 mm pistol and 50 rounds of ammunition for it. They also found five high-capacity magazines for an AR-15 or M-16 and three high-capacity magazines for a pistol, two of which were filled with nearly 30 live rounds.
While the search was happening at the home, police said Jason M. Nadeau arrived and told police he had a handgun in his car and a rifle at his house. Police searched the car and found a Sig Sauer .357 semi-automatic handgun, two high capacity magazines, a Smith & Wesson M-15 rifle, a high capacity feeding device and an expandable baton.
