Mild weather Monday with temps in the 50s

Mild weather will continue early week. You can safely ditch the mittens and scarves today!

Areas of fog, dense on spots, impacted the AM commute but will clear by midmorning. Sunshine will take over Monday afternoon with highs 50-55 degrees. Temperatures are especially interesting because the average high for today of 46 is where the day started before the sun even came up!

Tuesday will bring another round of highs in the mid 50s, though it will not be as bright. Increasing clouds will move into southern New England ahead of the next front.

As a cold front passes early Wednesday, expect RAIN showers. Temperatures will then fall during the day of Wednesday as cooler air arrives.

Cool sunshine for Thursday and Friday will be followed by the chance for showers this weekend.
