MIDDLEBOROUGH, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) -- Middleborough police say they have impounded the Jeep Grand Cherokee believed to be involved in a fatal hit-and-run.
Investigators would not say whether or not they interviewed the owner of the car, only saying their probe is "very active."
Michael Dutra, 58, died from the injuries he sustained after being hit by a car on Wood Street Oct. 11.
Days after Dutra's death, officials announced debris from the hit-and-run indicated Dutra was hit by a light-colored Jeep Grand Cherokee, model year 2005 to 2009.
