Methuen police working to identify armed bank robber

METHUEN, Mass. — Methuen police are looking for a man who robbed a bank Saturday morning.

According to Methuen Police Chief Joseph Solomon, the Savings Bank on Burnham Road was robbed by an armed man.

The suspect is described as a man in his late 40s to 50s, short, with a light complexion and dark hair. Police say he was wearing a black hoodie, dark sunglasses, blue jeans and possibly a fake mustache at the time of the robbery.

Police say the man showed a firearm during the robbery and should not be approached if seen.
