BOSTON (MyFoxBoston.com) - Several days after a Swiss doctor working at Beth Israel Medical Center was hit and killed while riding her bike a memorial is growing in her memory.
Flowers and signs at the intersection of Mass Ave and Beacon Street are a growing show of love for 38-year-old Anita Kurmann. The Boston Globe also reports that there are plans to install a ghost bike near where the crash occurred.
Kurmann was killed on Friday when she was hit by a tractor-trailer while riding her bike. The driver of that truck is reportedly cooperating with police, it is not clear if charges are forthcoming.
