WINCHENDON, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) – A McDonald's in Winchendon is searching for cashier candidates with one to two years of experience, as well as a bachelor's degree.
The full-time cashier position has some hefty requirements, including a degree and previous experience, reads the job posting on JobDiagnosis.com.
It is unclear whether the fast-food restaurant really wants and will get this type of high caliber candidate; however, they just might. According to The Washington Examiner, youth unemployment is sky-high at 11.5 percent.
The posting is proof of how bad the employment situation really is for young adults and recent graduates.
"Sadly we've taxed-and-spent our way to an economy in which there's intense competition for just about any job. Combine that with government meddling in the student loan market that has artificially inflated the cost of higher education, and young people are getting screwed over even worse than the country overall," Evan Feinberg, president of youth advocacy group Generation Opportunity, told the newspaper.
