WORCESTER, Mass. — Changes could be coming to the Commuter Rail train that runs from Worcester to Boston.

The HeartToHub train launched less than a year ago. It leaves Worcester just after 8 a.m., and leaves Boston at 7:35 p.m.

But now the MBTA is considering adding stops in Framingham and Ashland because of poor ridership.

Worcester city leaders are blaming the poor numbers on the inconvenient schedule.

They said the train doesn’t work for anyone with a nine to five job and will ask the MBTA to change the departure times instead of adding stops to the route.
