MBTA bus, woman shot with BB's in Roslindale

ROSLINDALE, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) -- MBTA Transit Police were investigating two separate incidents that possibly involve a B.B. or pellet gun in Roslindale.

The MBTA says at about 9:35 p.m. Saturday bus 2092 was near Washington Street and Arboretum Road when two of its windows were hit and fractured by a projectile. Police said they believe the bus was hit by a B.B. or pellet fired from a gun.

The bus driver told police that he saw two individuals standing in a driveway near Archdale Road holding what appeared to be a firearm. Police were not able to find the individuals.

At about 1:45 p.m. on Sunday a woman told Transit Police that she was hit in the face with a projectile, possibly a B.B., in the same area the bus had been shot.

Police said they can't relate the incidents, but were investigating.
