Maxim 'Hometown Hottie' indicted on drug charges

PORTSMOUTH, N.H. (MyFoxBoston.com) – A semifinalist for Maxim magazine's "Hometown Hottie" contest was indicted for possessing and/or selling heroin and crack cocaine this month.

Persephanie Lesperance, 24, of Portsmouth, N.H. was a semifinalist for Maxim magazine's Hometown Hottie contest and was recently indicted by a grand jury for three felonies alleging her possession and/or sale of heroin and crack cocaine, according to SeacoastOnline.com.

It is alleged that Lesperance had crack cocaine on her in November of last year and that she delivered heroin to a codefendant last summer. The heroin she delivered was sold to an undercover officer and she reportedly profited from the deal. She was also indicted for selling heroin to an undercover officer.

She has another charge pending, SeacoastOnline.com reported. Two months after she was arrested in November, she was taken into custody for breaching bail conditions by climbing through a window at the Gosling Meadows public housing neighborhood.

Two years ago, Lesperance was chosen from thousands as one of 10 semifinalists for Maxim's Hometown Hottie contest.
