STONEHAM, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) -- Investigators searching an area near Spot Pond in Stoneham Thursday said they did not find anything suspicious.
A man told FOX 25 he called the police after he came upon what he thought was a shallow grave while walking his dog.
SKYFOX was over the scene at about 2 p.m. Thursday. A crime scene van could be seen parked along a path near the pond.
Mass. State Police set up a perimeter in a wooded area near the pond and searched for nearly five hours, but did not find anything leading them to believe there was a shallow grave at the site.
