Mass. Senate candidates spar over past clients

SAUGUS (AP) - Republican U.S. Sen. Scott Brown is again challenging his Democratic rival Elizabeth Warren to make public more details of corporate clients she's provided legal work for during her career as a Harvard law professor.

Brown, a lawyer, also gave more details about his own work history during a campaign stop Thursday.

Brown said that he's worked as a private attorney focused on real estate closings. Brown said he's worked with mortgage companies and smaller banks including Middlesex Savings Bank and Wrentham Cooperative Bank.

Brown, a member of the National Guard, is also a member of the military's Judge Advocate General's Corps.

The two candidates have called on each other to release lists of past clients.

Brown has criticized Warren for past legal work on behalf of LTV Steel and Travelers Insurance in U.S. Supreme Court cases.
