• Mass. Senate candidate to resume campaign

BOSTON (AP) - Republican Daniel Winslow is the first Massachusetts U.S. Senate candidate to announce that he will resume his campaign after the Boston Marathon attack.

Winslow's campaign said Wednesday he would resume with "sensitivity and respect" on Thursday following an interfaith service in Boston that President Barack Obama is scheduled to attend.

The three Republicans and two Democrats running in the April 30 primaries all suspended their campaigning after the bombings that killed three people and injured more than 170 others near the Boston Marathon finish line.

The campaigns of Democratic U.S. Reps. Edward Markey and Stephen Lynch said Wednesday that no decisions had been made about the resumption of campaigning.

The campaigns of the two other Republicans, former U.S. Attorney Michael Sullivan and businessman Gabriel Gomez, did not immediately respond Wednesday.
